BAND OF THE MOMENT:
Current album: Everything You Want
[Released June 14, 1999 - RCA Records]
Current singles: We Are, Everything You Want
My favourites: Best I Ever Had (Grey Sky Morning), Everything You Want, You're A God, Send It Up
Sounds like: Hard to say, actually. Cool guitars like Goo-Goo Dolls; voice is hard to place but I like it (not too scratchy); nice harmonies with thoughtful lyrics that aren't too abstract, nor rhyme-oriented.

WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO I LIKE??
I've kinda gone from Z95.3 FM to 99.3 THE FOX!

Gwen Stefani was pretty cool... I liked her voice and stuff.
Too bad "No Doubt" was such a mainstream fad...

WHAT BANDS DO I LIKE??

I like Live, Dave Matthews Band, and that funky "Hanging Around" tune by Counting Crows. Kinda oldies but goodies: Matchbox 20, Third Eye Blind, The Smashing Pumpkins, Semisonic, R.E.M., Blur [Song 2], Veruca Salt [Volcano Girls!] (I got their autographs! They signed my "Grapes of Wrath" novel!), and U2 too! I like Sarah McLachlan, Matthew Good Band, Our Lady Peace, 54-40, Barenaked Ladies, Bryan Adams, and Chantal Kreviazuk too because obviously,
CANADA ROCKS!!!

I've decided to make a "Song's That I Like" List. Here it goes:

  1. One -- U2
  2. Song 2 -- Blur
  3. Jumper -- Third Eye Blind
  4. 4am -- Our Lady Peace
  5. Brick -- Ben Folds Five (heehee, get the idea?)

GUITAR CHORDS & TABS (by me!)

Quickie lyrics to Back At One by Brian McKnight. Nicely crafted... I gotta learn that piano solo intro!

Here are some tabs for Matchbox 20 from their 1996 album, "Yourself or Someone Like You." COOL!!!

Wicked chords to 6th Avenue Heartache by
The Wallflowers!!

I AM SO SMART! I found the chords to my ex-favourite song, How's It Going To Be by Third Eye Blind. This is one of my first tabs. Hope you like it.

I decided to put up the tab to Live's Lightning Crashes along with the write-up/explanation on it that I did for my English 12 class a few years ago. Go nuts, Albert!

A totally awesome Canadian performer,
Chantal Kreviazuk and her ever-so-talented Hands (it's really a song).

Another excellent product of Canada,
Matthew Good Band rocks! I found some easier ways of playing Everything is Automatic and I finally got Apparitions-- Thanks to STEF from Montréal for sending it over!

Who HASN'T heard of Sarah McLachlan??
Jello's version of the chords to Angel. Btw, I hate it when people can't spell McLachlan right... GRR!

I also like some Christian bands like Deliriou5 and Jars of Clay (check out my BYF page). Doulos was a talented local band out of TWU, but unfortunately are no longer together. They had a great CD, "one foot in the water". Lead singer Martin Deamer was a friend of a friend (oh yeah, I'm soooo hooked up, baby). There are lots of other really awesome Christian artists out there but I just don't get a chance to listen to them too often. Feel free to send me money so I can expand my CD collection. :)
