July 2000Sunday 16thWell, this is the first entry to this new section. I have just finished my A-levels (well about three weeks ago actually, but...) and should be having the time of my life. However, as I am sure most of you have found out, it has been a complete anti-climax as no-one can be arsed to do anything except maybe the odd week of work and the increasingly frequent visit to the pub. Most of us are suffering in the financial departments yet none of us can actually be bothered to go out and get a proper job. Aaah, such is the life of the nearly-students. Last week was the school Ball. It was just as fun as it always is and everyone was just as pissed as the usually are. Unfortunately there were no real events that came of this monumental occasion. A couple of people were sick but I shall keep their identities a mystery. After the Ball most went on to a club and then a park and then on to a teacher's house to stay what was left of the evening. I was unable to partake in these merry happenings due to the constraints of work but I did here of a particularly disturbing rumour concerning people who should know better. I do not know if these rumours are true but if anyone would like to inform me further then please feel free to do so. On Wednesday myself and others (my brother Tim, Mike Wood, Matt Briant and friends) went to see Chicken Run. I laughed my pants all the way up my butt crack. It is a damn good film though the fact that I found it funny probably means that it was shite. Also on Wednesday I went to Saga's sister's house and spent the day watching various films on DVD, eating bagels and playing Crazy Taxi on the Sega Dreamcast. It has made me realise just how much I want a widescreen TV and a DVD player. However, I can afford neither. It also allowed me to witness for myself the only place I have seen where you can get bagels for just 15p. What a bargain!!! I don't know when I will next update this page, but until I do enjoy yourselves kiddies and beware of the evil flies - don't let them steal your bacon like they did mine. They are vicious bastards and will stop at nothing until they get that sweet pork. |
