Listed below are the guitars players that have had a direct influence on my playing.  While it's true that I'm nowhere near as good as any of them, I still feel that their playing is what drives me to be a better guitar player, and what little "style" I have as a guitarist, definitely incorporates things from all of these dudes.

My favorite thing about a guitarist is if they can combine a sense of melody, with something powerful and emotional, while staying heavy and within the feel of the song.  Fast or slow, the songs they write, and their leads/solos must contain those qualities.

These guys are all so mega-cool, that I gave them each their own page as a shrine.

Adrian Smith would be my all time favorite guitarist, and the other guys are all tied for second.  However, here I have them listed in alphabetical order.

NOTE:  On the following pages, under the categories BANDS and ALBUMS, I only listed some of each guitarist's "official" BANDS/ALBUMS.  My list does not include some live or compilation recordings, bands they might have been in during their early years, or albums that they may have made guest appearances on, etc.
