Becca (Jewel Staite) and Tucker (Ben Foster) are two 13 year-olds who have been best friends since birth - they live next door to each other and have shared birthday parties, backyard swings and baby-sitters. But now, Becca and Tucker are beginning the rite of passage known as eighth grade. Suddenly they are teenagers, testing the bounds of their new independence while struggling to hang on to their past in Flash Forward, a 26 episode series from Atlantis Films.

Tucker is a natural comic who faces the challenges of eighth grade with jokes and manic energy. His irrepressible mischievousness puts him and his buddies in more than a few hilariously difficult situations. Luckily, Tucker can always count on the level-headed Miles (Theodore Borders), a new friend and Tucker's constant companion, to keep his cool when their schemes backfire.

Becca is a thoughtful and strong-willed girl who isn't afraid to stick her neck out for the things she believes in. But despite her determination, she still feels pretty vulnerable sometimes. Becca's new best friend is Christine (Asia Vieira), and they're inseparable. Becca and Christine share the same tastes and can spend hours together discussing music, television and their plans for the next day.

As Becca and Tucker experience the ups and downs of eighth grade, they enjoy the good times like best friends, weather the bad times like brother and sister, and discover in the meantime that there might be more to their friendship than they ever expected.
