| This shot is across the top of the falls. The building on the other side is where there is a mill set up to grid flour out of grain using the power of the water. An ancient Berber woman showed us how it worked and Stephanie tried to slip her some coins while her man wasn't looking, but before we even walked two steps away, the woman had handed all of the money to the man outside who just stands around, smoking cigarettes all day. Just another example of oppression that is so ingrained, the oppressed don't even realize it! |
