December 26th, 2001 Well, I just can't wait to go to Kagoshima! Before that, I have to finish my term papers... Oh no... December 25th, 2001 Christmas for Japanese people is just an ordinary event like other parties they usually do. It's nothing to do with religion, and December 25th is not a holiday in Japan anyway. Last night, I had a very loong party!! Starting from 7 o'clock at night until 6 o'clock in the morning! It was so great!! Perfect party! First, we ate shichu (?) and watched Disney video titled "The Little Mermaid". After that we talked, talked, and talked until morning... accompanied by SMAP songs...
December 18th, 2001 This is my first time to celebrate Hari Raya in Japan. After one full month of fasting (in Japanese it's called "danjiki"), now I can eat again during the daytime. Somehow, I miss the fasting nuisance in Jakarta. It was so different here. But I guess, I was lucky, because the daytime was so short here because of autumn season! On December 29th, I will leave for Kagoshima with my friend, Kakazu and his family! I hope, in winter holiday this year, I could feel Japanese way in celebrating new year. It must be fun! I just can't wait... December 5th, 2001 Things are getting just fine with me... or is it me who finally adapted to new environment? I don't know. But the thing is I love this country and I think I want to spend more time here. Well, I must admit that the first three months here was really hard for me. Now, I just feel, I don't want to go back to Indonesia... Hey... what's happening with me? ;-) November 26th, 2001 I had mid-term test today! Fhew... I feel much better, after the test :-) Last Friday, I went to Iwakuni and enjoyed a lot. Here is one of picture I took there.
November 22nd, 2001 Today, I will have a final test for the class of Theory of International Cooperation. The teachers gave lots of reading assignment! November 13th, 2001 Last Saturday, I and three of my friends went to Miyajima, again! We enjoyed a lot the trip, and we had so much fun. The color of tree leaves has changed into red and yellow. They were beautiful! First, we visited Tsukishima Shrine, and then Aquarium. On the way home, we enjoyed our dinner at Indonesian restaurant in Hiroshima City. Feels like home!
