Sunset, Santa Cruz, CA Welcome to what would be the eighth largest economic power in the world if it were a sovereign country. There are more people here than in Canada and more cars than in all of Europe. Everyone knows about the movie industry and earthquakes, but did you know Fresno County is among the wealthiest agricultural regions in the world? That 90% of the people live on 10% of the land? That the American city with the most factories and highest industrial output is . . . L.A.? That the biggest A traditional California delicacy, Gilroy, CA Korean city outside of Korea is L.A., as well as the biggest Armenian city outside of Armenia is L.A.? That over 80 languages are spoken in Fresno's schools? There's a lot to explore in this state, and I realize that my page is limited. Here are three towns in California that I think you should check out:
