Beihai Park

When you only have a few palaces and a fasting complex to your name, it's important to have a little playground. The Emperor's was Beihai Park. This housed a little town and some templey things on a nice gender-neutral-person-made lake with a nice gender-neutral-person-made island. The park now houses a beautiful restaurant featuring Imperial Cuisine (a cuisine revived thankfully in time for the Emperor's ancient brother to be able to test it for authenticity before going to the big Forbidden City in the sky). Here you can feast on Camel Paw soup and other exotic (and tasty) treats,
