Welcome to my homepage. My name is Carol and I will be your hostess as you explore my site.
This is Sport.
As you can see, he was very tired the day I began creating this page.
Sport was almost 15 year old at the time, and in cat years he was a senior citizen, so he was entitled to his rest. Since then Sport was diagnosed with a tumor in his tummy and because of his age (15 1/2 at that time), it was determined to be inoperable. To spare him any further suffering he went to a peaceful sleep on 25 August 1999.
Since then, despite my fervent desire to be "pet free" for a while, a new addition has been added to the household. Her name is Molly. Molly is anything but tired! She was on her most perfect behaviour during our first chance encounter and showed all her best manners when she first strayed into my life. Since then she has been treated to all the necessary and expensive veterinary procedures to make her a good pet. Not that she is firmly entrenched as part of the "family", she has decided to behave like a spoiled child going through the "terrible twos"!
Molly (looking very proper)
As for Molly's mistress, I am a teacher and, during the course of a week, over 900 children pass through my computer labs. In my spare time, I teach computer classes for the college, make web pages, do private tutoring and keep my Graphics with Flair business going.
I have many interests, not the least of which is traveling. My travels have taken me to places that I will share with you on my travel page. Summer of 1999, I spent three weeks traveling in England and Ireland and added to my collection of travel photos. During that time I will was honoured to be a member of the wedding party of my good friend, Claudette, who was married on the enchanting Isle of Wight off the coast of England on 10 July 1999.
I am also interested in music and prefer easy listening and classical to hard rock, although I enjoy dancing to the oldies of the rock 'n roll era too. I particularly like old Irish music and you will be able to find some of that on my Irish page. I live near the sea so walks on the beach are very relaxing. Reading is something that I don't get enough time to do, although I compensate for it with books on tape when I am on long drives. They are a wonderful inventions for those of us who don't have time to sit and read as often as we would like. Being a news junkie, I find that the web editions of the big newpapers are a great source of information.
It is now time for me to show you the rest of my home so please join me by clicking on the next button and I will guide you along the way, or select from the menu to guide yourself through.
Thank you for visiting me, and if you enjoyed my hospitality, drop me a line and let me know.
