TIPS

There are many travel tips contained on the Trips page but following are some more.

• Shop around for any tours you wish to do. Some average prices can be found in the Tour Operator section of the trips page. The Gulet trip especially is offered cheaper than your tour company in many shops around the resort.
• If you want to buy a carpet consider going on the village tour for better prices. If not the bigger markets are cheaper than local stores.
• Leather is very cheap and you can get tailor made clothes in 1 to 3 days.
  A good shop for tailor made leather we found was Cag in Bodrum.
• Internet and email access is offered at Cafe Post in Gumbet. This is on the main road just past Cesars Hotel. This service was not available when we were there as they had just opened but should be by now.
• Take sterling as many bargains can be found if you pay with pounds due to the high inflation of the local money.
