Experience

Intense is one way to put it. The house was packed to capacity this fine evening in Vegas. Everyone was there in good spirits, the bars packed like I've never seen. Boom! the explosion of Oceansize rumbles across this theater like a desert wind storm. Everyone in the house was going crazy. Of course, everyone rushes the stage to get a closer view of the boys. Right before "Then She Did..." Perry tells the crowd, "we weren't going to play this song, but..." then goes on to play. While singing "Then She Did...", someone passed Perry a fatty. He smoked it then passed it to Steven who puffed on that Nikki J for awhile. After the song finished Perry exclaims "Eddie Vedder and Dennis Rodman are in the house," then introduced a beautiful woman "Sonores y Sonoras, nosotros tenemos mas influencia con sus hijos que to tiene..." What a beautiful voice she had.

Since there was no second stage, there was more time for Perry to spark some tea. People were getting impatient so he told everyone to get wasted. After plugging in their instruments, Dave started playing a few riffs of Skynyrd then Perry started to sing along. I thought they were actually going to play the whole song, but then Perry stopped. Then they went into "Jane Says." As soon as "Jane Says" was finished, Dave started strummin away to "Pigs in Zen" then the band started playing. The crowd started screaming. After about a minute of Pigs, they just stopped. Oh well. Towards the end of the setlist, someone spit on Perry and he was kind of bummed at first, but then said it's cool "I remember those days." The crowd at this show was wild, which made this show one of the best ones yet.
