Mia's Reasons:
Opposites
Attract
I know, you can spot this
factor in over a dozen anime and mangas,
but people still like the factor that
way...from what I noticed. If such
miracles as Usagi and Mamoru, Tamahome
and Miaka, and Keiko and Yusuke worked
out, Botan and Kurama can get along to,
ne?
They're
single and they don't deserve it
May seem silly, but when I
think of it, it's also true. Botan is
sweet, understanding...but sadly, nice as
she is, she hasn't found that certain
someone yet. Kurama, on the other hand,
is a total gentleman, his female
classmates are all charmed and gaga over
him, but he's still in singledom. But
they're gf and bf material! Why not
place two and two together? ;)
Too
many things have occured
which suggests that
they're meant to be or supposed to be
together I think I should leave that
explanation up to Chevalle.
:)
It's
time for a change.
Hiei-Kurama yaois are way
overdone. I know, I'm in for some major
lamebits, but let me get this straight
first--I AM NOT HOMOPHOBIC (would I be
enjoying watching those sweet scenes
between Haruka and Michiru in
Sailormoon if I was?). I think that yaois
are ok, but Hiei and Kurama have NEVER
been together in the actual series, and
theÊ majority of YYH fics put Hiei and
Kurama together as a couple. It's just
very sickening to see another Hiei and
Kurama fanfic out there...it's now time
for an alternative.
Extra Note: The K+B page
received a few complaints about this
particular reason, so I might as well
elaborate a little bit more. One, we have
no intention whatsoever to boycott yaois.
And even if Hiei-Kurama pair ups aren't
really my type, I have written a fanfic
on it once. Sooo...some of you were
hinting about closed-mindedness?
Two, a recent e-mail was very, very,
very, very defensive when it came to this
reason. Again, I point out that it's my
opinion here. Sure, you're entitled to
your own opinions and may counter my
words here, but what use would it be?
I'll listen, but I may not quite agree.
This reason stays.
