0607 Youth Day Holiday
- Got a rest from all those tests. Class outing at East Coast with our first 3 mths classmates.
- Played games and relaxed there ("zohboh")
1107 Singapore Story
- Got to college for the "The Singapore Story" at Suntec City. Luckily transportation was provided. It rained real heavily that morning.
- The exhibition was interesting. I remembered the moving theatre which took us through a "re-enactment" of the past. Quite inspiring.
- Had class "brunch" together at the foodcourt. Talked about many things and learned more about each other. We even discussed the topic of handsome guys in our class with our Civics Tutor. Sad to say.. she would not be our CT again next year.
1407 Pleasant Surprise
- The table tennis recrea had been really pathetic since the Yr 2s left. Usually there were only one or two who would turn up.
- I was about to leave because there was no one. But later, a group from my direct senior class 97s03 turned up. I was really very happy to see them.
- Got to know a bit more about them also. They were nice lah. A pity we juniors do not know them well as there were not many chances for interaction. Now with the House system, our direct seniors were not even in the same house as us.
1707 Crescent Speech Day
- Got a "holiday" as I had to attend my Sec School Speech Day. And the day before, we went to collect the college blazer. Haha. That's when a large group of Crescent girls in NJ assemble at the same place. Like some Îä ÁÖ ´ó »á £¨Heroes Meeting).
- On the day itself, I got to meet some friends whom I had not seen for quite a long while. Very heart-warming. Precious chance to get together.
- Went to Orchard after that. Yah, and by straight bus 111. Direct and fast. Seldom take this bus service since I came to NJ.
- Chatted at Taka Square. Everyone was so tired and no one bothered the way we were sitting.
- Prepared for the event for the past few weeks. Tiring but quite fruitful. Got to know more of the Yr 2s.
- Somebody brought a camera but did not load film. And I was the unlucky one who have to rush to Coronation Plaza to buy the film just few minutes before the event. So unfair... Just want to grumble, so that someobdy, please don't take it to heart.
- The turnout was quite bad but it was all right. With a handful of "on" people around, we can create a party.
- Had fun with water bombs. A rule in mind: everyone will have to get wet in the end no matter how skillful you are at dodging. Guess everyone has his/her own share of fun.
2907 Debate Support
- My friend and myself went down to TCS together with many other college-mates to support the debate team. The other team was from HJC.
- It was quite an interesting debate. Our speakers were quite humorous. The NJ team managed to convince the judges and we all cheered. But I had to admit one of the HJC speaker was good. She was calm and delivered her points clearly.

0708 National Day Celebration
- Everyone was in the mood to celebrate. We sang community songs during intevals between the skits and other items. A kind of bond was felt between each and everyone in the college.
- After the whole thing had ended, "I Want You" was played and the same old "on" ones got down to dance. I was contented at just watching them. It had also been some time since we had the mass dance. Brought back some sweet memories.
- Went to Orchard with some classmates after that. We got quite bored sitting at the Taka Square so we decided to go to CH's house. He got his own drumset in his bedroom. Whoa, that was really something. Played some real silly games. I think all of us who went remembered the signature game of that friend: The Stupid Game. Each one had to pick a card from the randomly spread out cards on the floor. The person with the largest card value would be laughed at and called stupid. The game itself was not that funny but it was the people we were playing with. We all laughed like mad.
