Benares
Benares is Shiva's "Wu" and Yakumo's rival. Benares is at least 320 years old. He is a powerful sorceror who has developed most of the magic used by Yakumo and the others. He was originally a huge dragon. Now he controls several monsters. Benares's goal is to resurrect Shiva. Although he constantly beats the tar out of Yakumo, Parvati is always blasting him to pieces.
Benares possessed Meixing and used her to steal the statue of humanity. Before Meixing could escape with the statue, Parvati stopped her. Benares's first attempt at the statue of humanity left Pai no choice but to face off one on one with the evil Wu.
