About this page
The words "the Japanese Phrase of the Day" may sound familiar to some residents of Japan. Far East Network Radio, which is one of the radio stations that provides the US military stationed in this part of the world with country/ western music (no comment), has a "Japanese Phrase of the Day"...the problem was, that the phrase would usually consist of something like "Ribon wo kakete kudasai" (Please put a ribbon on it) or "the purple and pink striped cat walked on the fence" or somesuch phrase that would probably be useful in daily conversation once every three centuries.

I choose phrases as I utter them in my daily life. I am sure they will be used in yours as well, more often than "please put a ribbon on it", at any rate! (^.~)

I have started a blog which includes Japanese phrases.
