Tanaka The Tanaka family was the last family I stayed with. I lived with them from the beginning of June until I left on August 3rd. This was the smallest family I lived with. It consisted of just my host dad, Takuro and host Mom, Hiroko. Takuro owned and ran a gas station chain in the middle of Yokohama. In fact, his chain was a sponsor of the Yokohama Baystars, Yokohama's pro baseball team. Hiroko was a painter. Some of her works were on display in a local gallery. They also had two sons, Hideki and ?, but they had both moved out. Occasionally Hideki would visit with his wife and children. The Tanakas also lived near my school, Kanto Gakuin. It was less than ten minutes to walk to school. It was very nice to be able to sleep in every day. |

Sorry that I don't have very many pictures scanned in of the Tanakas. Hiroko is the lady on the far left and Takuro is the man on the far left. | ||||||||||||||
