Water Stones

All the stones mentioned here are in my collection.  Most of this information is material I've found on the web.  As I can limber up my typing fingers I'll replace it with my own notes from my book of shadows.(denoted by italic boldface type)

AGATE (botswana)

AQUAMARINE is a translucent aqua colored beryl. High quality, rich colored aqua is rare and quite costly. Necklaces of chips instead of beads serve most people well. The color of the stone and its vibrations stirs the unconscious and reminds one of the Ocean of God. It allows one to recognize truth and be open to changes in consciousness.

BLUE CALCITE

BLUE LACE AGATE is a light blue stone with white bands. It was seeded on the Earth to help awaken our consciousness to life beyond our own planet. When worn over time it stretches the mind and imagination beyond its current limitations. It enhances creativity and encourages an expanded viewpoint. Taken as an elixir is the most powerful use of this particular mineral. One is advised to place it in cheesecloth so shards do not impact the human. The colon and liver are cleansed by blue calcite, and it can be worn as support during a period of treatment to those areas. It is suggested that 15 drops be followed 5-minutes later by at least 8-ounces of water and no more than 20-ounces. This will allow the mineral to alert the body's own cleansing system to release enzymes in the stomach which are carried through the digestive track to the colon and absorbed by the bloodstream to be transported to the liver. Take fifteen drops in the morning before eating. Eating can occur 20 to 25 minutes later, and take again just before bedtime. If diarrhea results, move the evening dose to the afternoon when the stomach is empty; especially important is to follow with a meal free of complex proteins. Continue to drink water every hour (8-ounces). This treatment can be used for two weeks to induce deep cleansing. Afterwards, maintenance can be achieved by using treatments one or two weekends a month, or one day a week depending on the severity of the case. The physical abnormality leading to requiring blue calcite is a lack of enzyme production relating to organ and tissue regeneration in these areas. Chronic constipation over a lifetime shows this enzyme deficiency, but this treatment also is excellent for less chronic colon and liver ailments. Blue calcite worn on the body is a calmer and is as effective as a sedative after emotional trauma such as death of a loved one.

CORAL is the spiny skeletons of colonies of marine organisms. It varies in color from white to red and is relatively soft and absorbent. It is extremely valuable for those whose core energy has been stressed and depleted to the extent that the body cannot heal. Coral should be worn continuously for a month as it rebuilds and protects the core energetic structure. The various colors play different roles in the rebuilding process and can be worn alone or in special combinations.

LAPIS LAZULI is a rich royal blue earthstone, often containing golden flecks of pyrite. Its main mission is to integrate the heart and the mind and bring wisdom and awareness to the wearer. It is a great asset to realizing one's dreams, especially those of a spiritual nature. Lapis was often used in Ancient Egypt, and will work well with people who had past lives there. Less expensive lapis beads are usually dyed and of low quality . Its healing effects when dyed or of low quality will be much less.

MOONSTONE was used in ancient times to help fortell the future, as well as to increase other psychic abilities. It balances the emotions and promotes happiness. It can help with PMS as well as other natural cycles. It tends to ease childbirth. It promotes harmony and is connected to the "Goddess" and "Mother" energies.

MOTHER OF PEARL is good for those who are convalescing or in need of some loving care. It is nurturing, calming, sedating and relaxing and teaches about unconditional acceptance. It has the ability to protect the wearer from negative influences whether they are thoughts, emotions, or electromagnetic emanations. It makes an ideal gift for a child.

PEARL is often used for its beauty as well as its healing properties. It is associated with, purity, honesty, love, friendship, patience, understanding, and peace. It has a tendency to increase the emotions, thus making them easier to appreciate or change. "Biwa" or freshwater pearls consist of solid "pearl" material, or nacre, whereas ocean pearls usually have only a small layer of nacre over a large mother of pearl center. Cultured ocean pearls have very little healing energy.

SODALITE helps to clean pollution from the environment, both the earth's and the wearer's. It absorbs the energies from the aura that are extraneous and may be clouding perception or mental functioning. The longer sodalite is worn the more personalized it becomes. It can greatly assist those who are frequently overwhelmed and have difficulty distinguishing between their own wishes and desires and those projected onto them by others.
