WE MUST CARRY ON THE WORK
REMEMBER THE VICTIMS WHO LOST THEIR LIVES
Jennifer Barrett McCrady
She was a 30 yearr old mother of two small boys.
Her husband was a state highway patrol man. No one
knows exactly what happened, but from the trial speculations
we were told that he just snapped and beat her bad, then shot
her in the head with his gun and took her out and
buried her. He was on steroids so they assume that is why
he snapped. They had had some marriage problems but who
doesn't nowadays.
He was found guilty and was sentenced to life in prison.
Now, whether he gets natural life or the normal 25 years
for life, I dont know. I don't know if he is eligble for
parole or not.
Jennifer's parents filed for custody of her boys. They got
temporary custody at first, but now that
the trial is over they can file for full custody.
They are really super great people."
As told by her friend Amy
A CANDLELIGHT VIGIL ACROSS THE INTERNET
On December 6th, 7 years ago, 14 women were killed for being "feminists" at the
Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal. This tragedy in Canadian history will not be
forgotten.
The aim of this cyber candlelight vigil is to raise awareness of violence against women across the world.
Please take a moment and place a candle image on your Web page in memory of women everywhere who have been victims of violence. For further instructions click on the candle.
