The story of how Kristen, aka: Joyleaf, became my sister.

My nickname. The story of how I got it and the song it's from.

Currently, I work for PDQ Communications, which is the perfect job for me with wonderful people.

I used to work for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Southwest District, I loved it, but I think mainly that's because I worked with fabulous people too!  I've been extremely lucky to have always worked with and for amazing and talented individuals. 

Many of my formative years were spent in Pensacola, FL.  The schools which I attended helped me to become the person I am today.  It all began with Creative Learning Center, then I moved on to Booker T. Washington HS, graduating with the class of 1995.  After that I became a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, my fraternity.  No one ever thinks of me as a "sorority girl," and yet I am one. I was part of the Theta Lambda Chapter at the University of West Florida, my alma mater.

Realm of Redheads, of which I am a member because of course I'm a redhead. (Well, actually I'm a strawberry-blonde, but that I've got what counts!)

I'm caramel. I'm smooth and gooey, but when smeared somewhere, sticky and difficult to clean up. I'm derived from milk and sugar, without a whole lot of anything else needed but heat to get my kind of consistency. I'm a fairly common choice, but still rich and satisfying.
