You are the leader of the free world, and some awesome aliens have stopped by for a visit. What is the proper form of etiquette that you would show them?

Ms. Rose: I would be very diplomatic, inviting them into my humble abode and gathering the other leaders of the not-so- free-but-important-just-the-same worlds. Then, I would become great friends with the alien leader, and work to mix our two cultures and races into one big intergalactic family. Of course, the closemindedness of my race would prevent this event from occuring, but then I would pack up and go live on the aliens' planet for the rest of my life.

Anne: I would show them a special handshake, so when they meet the other leaders, they'd be stylin'!

Suppose, just for one nano-second, that you were in charge of pioneering the very first colonial mission in outer space. Where would you go, and who would you take along?

Ms. Rose: I would go to the second star to the right, then fall asleep for the rest of the trip, so that when I woke up it would be morning and I could stop. I would take every bright-eyed, eager, lovely person I could find ten minutes before take-off time, and hope to God the marvelous Pan has forgotten Wendy by now.

Erin: Nowhere particular, we'd just go cruising around various galaxies for a while. I'd take you, Ms. Rose, and Emily, and Harrison Ford, Tom Cruise, Seth Green, Nicholas Brendon, Allyson Hannigan, Vanessa Marcel, Ingo Rodemacher, and Michael E. Knight.

If you decided to run for President of the Universe, would you spend most of your time picking out a campaign song, or would you go on an intergalactic search for the six men in the six black space cruisers that really run everything and just use the president (namely, you. we assume that you are extremely popular among alien races and even your competition votes for you) as a dummy decoy? (Yes, a question is mixed in there somewhere.)

Ms. Rose: I would go on an intergalactic search for the six men, and when I found them, I would splash their ships with buckets of bright pink paint, just to ruin their image. Then, if they weren't incredibly mad at me, I'd follow them around and learn how to overpower them. But I guess it wouldn't matter if they were really mad at me, because I am the President of the Universe, and since no one but me and the guys know that means nothing, they'd have to let me follow them if I said they had to. Kind of like that movie "Dave" with Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver.

Anne: Hello! Campaign song! Who needs space cruisers?As long as you have the right slogan, everyone would vote for you. Once elected, I could make someone do my job.

And, lastly, if you could get rid of any one type of idea, person, species, weather, etc. etc etc, what would be the first to go, and where would you put it?

Ms. Rose: I would get rid of every type of close-mindedness and ignorance, and replace them with openness, enlightenment, and good feelings. The nasty feelings would just disintegrate into nothing and never be thought of again, because suddenly, everyone has better things to think about than their shameful pasts.
