LYKE WAKE RACE
RESULTS 1999
Below are listed all the entrants who successfully negotiated the 42 mile crossing of the Annual Lyke Wake Race within the 12 hour time limit.
The race was held on Saturday 10th July 1999 and was run from Osmotherley to Ravenscar.
Although the weather was marvelous for anyone watching, unfortunately it was too hot and bright for serious running. The heat caused more retirements than normal and so taking this into account the winning times were more than creditable.
The Race Committee would like to thank all those who entered and congratulate all those who successfully completed.
