We're on our way toward the Annapurna Sanctuary...

This is a cow-yak crossbreed, blocking our path with intent.

Other trekkers ontrail could immediately identify us as Americans by the excessively bulky packs we carry. This is one of the few photos with me in it.

On the way to Annapurna Base Camp, Ken found an enticing boulder.  No, wait, I meant to say, Ken is near the 8000-m summit of Rum Doodle.  
What a triumph!
