Standing two meters tall and dressed in flowing black robes and black body armor, Darth Vader is a tangible evil and symbol of the Emperor's doctrine of rule through fear and terror. He is the servant and emissary of the Emperor, and commands the vast fleet charged with finding and destroying the Rebel Alliance. This mission took on personal significance when Vader's discovered that the Rebel's newest ally was his own son, Luke Skywalker. Both the Emperor and Vader wants to convert young Skywalker to the dark side, but Vader has his own plan. He wants himself and Luke to rule the galaxy side by side as father and son. The first time they met was on Cloud City. Luke rejected Vader's claims and offers, electing to fight him. But Vader was too powerful for the still-developing young Jedi. Luke barely escaped with his life, though he lost his right hand to his father's lightsaber.
Darth Vader
Dash Rendar is a thief, smuggler and gambler, currently working for the Rebel Alliance. He is a pilot full of himself and just works for money. He was delivering a shipment of food stores on Hoth when the battle started, forcing him and everybody to fight. He has got red hair, pale skin and is very tall. Dash has no love for the Empire. Once he was at the Imperial Academy and his family was wealthy and highly placed. Then Dash's older brother, a freighter pilot working his way up through the family shipping company, crashed on liftoff on the Emperor's private museum. Dash's brother and all the freighter's crew were killed in the accident. The Emperor had the Rendars family property seized, then had them banished from Coruscant. They kicked Dash out of the Academy on Carida and off the planet. Today, he doesn't want to owe anybody, and so Dash works for whoever pays the most.

The Death Star battle station was the ultimate weapon in the Empire's terrible arsenal. It was designed and constructed in secret as the answer to the Emperor's problems with the Senate. The battle station, the size of a small moon and packed with more destructive power than the Imperial fleet, required a huge crew to operate. The armored shell housed the massive power plants needed to energize the battle station's primary weapon - a planet-destroying superlaser.Though the Death Star showed its relentless power by destroying the planet Alderaan, Rebel agents were able to discover a weakness to exploit when they stole the technical readouts for the battle station. The Battle of Yavin ended with the destruction of the Death Star.

A dianoga is an omnivorous creature that lives in shallow, stagnant pools and murky swamps. The creature grows to an average lenght of ten meters, and grabs prey with its seven tentacles. These tentacles also provide it with a means of locomotion. An eyestalk that emerges from the dianoga's trunk can be raised above the surface of the water to help the creature locate nearby prey.
