Krayt Dragons are among the most feared monsters in the galaxy. Few have faced these rare beasts and survived, and fewer still have had the honor of capturing one alive(a desire of Jabba's). Krayt Dragons can be found in the rocky wastes of Tatooine.	The rancor rivals the krayt dragon in ferocity and the fear factor, but are more easily captured and tamed. Jabba himself owned one of these monsters, and dreamed of pitting it against a krayt dragon, if only he could capture the latter.	Rontos are rather common forms of the more primeval modes of transportation. Jawas tend to favor using rontos to transport their goods through Mos Eisley. The ronto is easily frightened, so perhaps this is why their popularity among the poorer denizens of Tatooine is winding down.	Banthas roam freely in herds throughout the doon sea. These mammoths are among some of the most ancient beasts in the galaxy, and are endangered by stronger, quicker predators, the harsh climate of Tatooine, and hunters who now how much bantha meat is savoured throughout the galaxy.
