Here is a list of authors that I look for when I'm browsing the shelves of the local bookstore, together with just some of the books I remember especially enjoying. Of course, I've read a lot more books by these authors and a lot more authors, than I am listing. And the list only includes authors that are still writing. (Well, with a couple of exceptions. Somehow I don't want to remove authors who've died from this list, yet. Maybe when I have another page started with the likes of Asimov and Heinlein.)
