Homeschooling Used Curriculum Sites

There are tons of used curriculum sites & auctions springing up all over the internet. Ninety nine percent of these are run by honest, hardworking people, but occasionally, you will run into some who are not. At the moment, the only boards I know of that is strictly for complaints is The Swap Problems Board and My Homeschooling Place Flea Market Problems and Disputes. You may want to check it out to see if there have been problems with any seller in particular or to post any unresolved problems to warn others. Now, on with the list!

If you can't find what you are looking for through my page, or are looking for a resource that is not online, try checking Homeschool Resources - Used Curricula or Kris' Korner - Sources for Books Used & New. You can also go to the

Freebies & Cost Cutting Ideas page & try the books search engines listed there.

Auctions

Amazon Auctions are not quite as big as Ebay, but some things do show up there for a good price!

Ebay lists tons of homeschool material. Look by either topic (homeschool, software, or educational) or by specific titles. There is a small fee to sellers though!

Homeschoolbid.com is a fairly new site. It is free to buyers, but sellers pay a fee ranging from 5% for items sold for less than $25 to 1.25 % for items that sell for $500 or more!

HomeschoolAuctions.com is an auction set up just for homeschoolers. This service is provided free!

Yahoo Auctions offers a wide variety of materials.

Used Curriculum Email Loops

Please read the description of these groups listed on their homepage BEFORE you subscribe. Some of them are state/country specific & others are very curriculum specific. Also, since most of these are on E-groups, you may want to choose no-mail/web only for the ones with a very large number of people suscribed rather than end up getting a ton of e-mail a day from these loops. Also, if you go into the archives, you can do specific searches for things you are looking for rather than reading every single message. Some of these are "read-only" loops which means that one person does mass mailing periodically & probably won't cause a major backlog of messages if you choose to have the mail e-mailed to you rather than web-based.
