Objectives

  1. Gain basic understanding of computing concepts.

Labs 30%
Tests 40%
Final 25%
Participation 5%
 
Tests will be given on their scheduled dates.  There will be no makeup exams.  Assignments will be given on Thursdays and will be due two weeks from the assigned date.  A penalty of 5% per each late day will be deducted from late assignments.  Assignment information can be obtained by navigating to http://geocities.datacellar.net/csit101/assignments.html and then clicking on the desired assignment link.  Attendance records will be kept and any student with four unexcused absences will be excluded from the class.
