We amuse but don’t abuse 
we refuse to pay our dues
We’ll argue over certain issues 
and have you reaching for your tissues

A cry in the night 
an awakening light 
But do not take fright 
it’s for you it is alright

Sense of time aware not now 
troubled tears stirred by the plough
Hands that clench to get their share 
only if it’s there and spare

Join now in the celebration 
say your piece and pay collection
Dare to seek another day
