Empires in Arms Variants
This page provides access to several variants I've written for
Empires in Arms,
a grand strategic board game simulation of the
Napoleonic Wars from 1805 to 1815. The original game was written by the
Australian Design Group, and is now owned by Avalon Hill. None of
these variants is any use unless you already have either Empires in Arms
or a very odd taste in light reading.
- New Campaigns

The Old Regime in Arms, a campaign for the period 1702 to 1720,
covering the War of the Spanish Succession and the Great Northern War.

Nations Nascent, a campaign for the period 1859 to
1871, covering the reunification of Italy and of Germany. It's divided into

An Empire in Arms, a very early draft of a campaign for the period
1618 to 1659, covering the Thirty Years' War and various lesser conflicts.
