I am a technology generalist with 16 years of highly-developed technical expertise in addition to hands-on knowledge of a broad range of communication products and services including: wireless and IT networks, SFA, ERP and CRM systems, and Internet and portal technologies. Nextel Communications - Walnut Creek, CA - May 2005 to Present
Data Account Executive

Responsible for pre and post sales support including installation and customer training of wireless Java based GPS solutions. Currently averaging over 250% of quota.
Develop and train account executives on over 1000 data application currently available on the Nextel network.
Liaison between third party software vendor and sales teams.

AT&T - Pleasanton, CA - January 2005 to April 2005
Consultant Assigned as a Process Engineer

Develop and document support strategies across internal and outsourced operations teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer support model for AT&T’s new Wireless CDMA market offering (MVNO).
Analyze proposed projects, develop detailed project plans and determine resource requirements to support all Voice and Data (MMS and SMS) products.
Implement, track and manage risk for multiple complex projects. Manage internal and external vendor relationships. Translate between marketing, operational and technical teams.

Untethered Technology - Dallas, TX - June 2002 to August 2004
Consultant Assigned as a Project Manager

Project manager and sales engineer on several wireless integration projects as a contract employee.
Documented system and product requirements for telemetry applications.

helloNetwork - Las Vegas, NV - July 2001 to January 2002
Director of Sales Engineering

Championed the creation of the Sales Engineering and Application Engineering department to facilitate the business transformation from an ASP service provider to a software sales company.
Supported 12 sales people nationwide with a staff of one sales engineer.
Responsible for pre and post sales support including installation and customer training of a Java based streaming media software solution within the Entertainment & Information, Enterprise Solutions, Distance Learning and Governmental markets.
Developed and created product FAQ’s for sales team and web site.
Responsible for technical business development including identifying potential partnerships within the industry.

Vast Solutions - Addison, TX - July 1998 to April 2001
Director of Sales Engineering

Joined Vast Solutions with a core group of 20, and shaped product, sales and service delivery procedures and processes as a member of the Management Counsel.
Developed solutions for potential customers utilizing the Vast Viaduct, a wireless business application middleware built on the Tibco Rendezvous platform. Created enterprise-based mobile applications in order to establish real time communications between a disconnected work force and core IT systems.
Responsible for closing sales and growing business to 2.5 million in sales per quarter in 2000 within the Manufacturing/Distribution, Public Utilities, Transportation, Pharmaceutical, and Financial Services markets.
Championed design of the sales engineering process and determined role of company as a business-to-business solution provider by developing new product ideas founded on the emerging wireless technologies.
Established and built client relationships at the senior management (CIO, CFO) level in conjunction with the sales staff using a consultative and relationship selling approach involving technical sales presentations to explain our services, methodologies, and proposals.

Paging Network Inc. - Addison, TX. - August 1994 to July 1998
Director of National Accounts

Established sales engineering position to manage corporate accounts for Fortune 500 companies, in addition to devising and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
Managed a group of 3 account representatives as well as 5 customer service representatives.
Championed the development of the Technical Customer Service center designed to support the National Accounts program, including the integration of Remedy as the trouble ticketing system.
Worked cross functionally with the 3 divisions of the National Accounts department numbering more than 500 employees.
Provide company wide training on the National Accounts program and wireless technology.
Coordinated all technical sales efforts pertaining to portal connections, advanced applications and alliances.

Northern California Switching Manager

Held full technical responsibility for local and wide area networking consisting of 18 wireless terminals and over 100 remote transmitter sites in Northern California supporting 700,000 customers.
Managed and trained 12 field technicians and support staff in five crucial locations while administering a $7 Million budget despite no prior knowledge of the wireless industry.
Performed capacity planning and was lead project manager for all network installations and upgrades.
Managed vendor relationships to ensure compliance with company expectations and standards.
Managed support system engineers performing on-site customer service and maintenance.
Negotiated contracts with site management groups that ensured quality and met standards.

Digital Microwave Corporation - San Jose, CA. - June 1992 to August 1994
Sales Engineer European Branch

Served as technical consultant and sole contact for Europe operations (based in the United States).
Oversaw operations and tracked product and service delivery for 60 percent of the business (corporate earnings were $28 Million each quarter).

Manager Repair and Return

Managed the equipment repair depot staffed with 8 technicians.
Reduced back order inventory from 3000 units to 300 units by creating a repair and return process designed to streamline the service procedures ensuring maximum efficiency and increasing productivity.
Analyzed failed components to determine reasons for imperfections and recorded results for review by QA manager.
Facilitated ISO 9001 certification by documenting all operating procedures and departmental processes.

Production Line Manager

Production Line Manager for the 23 GHz product line.
