3/10/04 Meeting Minutes Senior Soccer League Attendees:
Ana DiSanzo, Laszlo Fekete (Orange CW), Italo Furlan (Milan), Udo Helferich (League
President), Glen Hutcheson (Avanti), Ader Khattab (International), Ard Keuilian (Phoenix),
? (Calif. Gold), Ramon Sandoval (Capote), Bob Mazenauer (Treasurer), Jeff Rowe (Belmont),
Richard Shirey (Rovers), Roger Tomrolesi (Capote), Louie Duran (new team application) 1. Bob Mazenauer reported league income and budget are in alignment. 2. If another field is obtained, the goal is to eliminate the late games at Edgar. 1. Approved by a vote of 6 for and 3 against the birth year for all league players must be 1954 or earlier. This requirement will be written into the league by laws and is permanent. 2. Louie Duran was given approval to bring in a new team into the league starting with the summer schedule if the following conditions are met: 2.1. A new field must be available 6/12/04 2.1.1. A firm commitment for one year’s use must be made by 5/12/04 2.1.2. Be within 15 miles of Edgar field. 2.1.3. Have goals 2.1.4. Allow first game to start prior to 12N for two games lasting a total of 4 hours 2.2. Provide Udo the cost of the field 3. Inca team manager was fined $70 for: 3.1. $25 for playing an unauthorized player (Shimabukauro) 3.2. $25 for not paying Shimaburkauro’s transfer fee 3.3. $20 for not providing a representative to this meeting. 4. The one less 3:40pm game for each team providing workers to the 3/6/04 field maintenance has been rescinded. 1. Ader/Jeff – secure an estimate of cost to open the Edgar school bathrooms for Saturday. 2. Jeff – secure bids: 2.1. to sod the area behind the North goal. 2.2. to sod and seed the entire field. 2.2.1. this may require 4 to 8 weeks of no play at Edgar by either the Saturday or Sunday leagues and play at an alternative field 3. Ard – purchase two nets to replace worst nets in the current mix. Vote 7 to 2. 1. Develop a method to collect game cards and red-carded Ids when Richard is gone on vacation. |
