Nomad of the Year. (Voted by the members). New Trophy for 2007

Pete Gardner finished the 2007 as the leading run scorer and was also top of the batting averages. He completed three centuries and scored 747 runs for the season.

John Hoddy was the leading wicket taker with 15 wickets and skipper Pete Blackburn topped the bowling averages.
Wickets were generally hard to come by this season.

Pete Blackburn's successful captaincy was also worth consideration as the team won 9 games and only lost 4 games.

Paul Fearon's contribution on and off  the pitch was noted.

The winner was Pete Gardner.
Interviewed after the presentation Pete commented "I thought my glory days were gone, but I was wrong"

Best Batting
The standout individual batting performances were the three centuries by Pete Gardner.
107* against Blythe Bridge Vikings, 107* against Coors and 100 against Sunseekers. There were good fifties for Fearon (79), Caygill (78*), Pinfield (73), Heslington (69) and Brannigan (64).

Best Partnerships
There were several worthy partnerships to note including:
192 - Pete Gardner and Paul Fearon v Church Eaton. This was a record for the Nomad's first wicket partnership.
156 Pete Gardner and Rich Caygill v Coors Brewers.
153 - Pete Gardner and Mark Heslington v Church Eaton.
116 Rich Caygill and Mal Pinfield v WT Parker
109 Pete Gardner and Mal Pinfield v Coombes Wood
76 Mark Heslington and Dan Brannigan v Sutton Police

Best Bowling
On the bowling front,  no-one managed a 5 wicket haul. The best individual performance being Pete Blackburn's personal best 4 for 8 against Coors. Pete also picked up 3 for 17 against Woore. Dan Moss took 3-16 against Church Eaton, Graham Coleman took 3-19 against Sunseekers and Paul Fearon took 3-40 against Sutton Police.

The winner was Dan Brannigan. In his absence Pete Blackburn accepted the trophy.

The committee nominated Dan Moss for his brilliant catch a Woore and Stewart Cox who took the most outfield catches despite only playing 4 times.

John Hoddy won the Gonad of the Year.
John picked up 2 ducks. Probably the least number of ducks ever picked up by the winner.
