 Rachael Lynde was the Cuthbert's nieghbor who just happened to know everybody's business. She was always had to know what everyone else was doing. In other words she was a big gossip. She also always said what was on her mind. Anne became extremely mad at her because of this. When Rachael first met Anne she said Anne's hair was as red as carrots. Anne refused to apologize, but when she did she was forgiven. Rachael became quite a friend over those years that Anne lived at Green Gables inspite of her gossiping tongue. Previous| Next |
