In this episode, Baloo dresses up as a super hero in order to impress Kit, but when he starts to get involved with real crime, all flaming heck breaks loose!

This episode can do no wrong.

This is the God of all Talespin eps.

There is far too much that I liked about this one that I can possible put in one review (although if you read 'From Here to Machinery" you'll see that I can blab for a long, long time.)

I must admit, when the episode started and I saw all those kids playing around, I thought I was in for some stupid kid-based adventure. Then when they talked about pirates, I thought I might see Karnage. But then it switched over to Kahn. This must be one of the best Kahn episodes i have ever seen. I was laughing until my sides hurt.

I loved the alligator mad scientist, first of all. ("I'm not mad, I'm really miffed!") The animators did a great job on the way he moves. He just had this great lanky body that slithers all over the place, and he also had very nice, slim hands that he wrung a lot. The way his eyes rolled in opposite directions cracked me up. For some reason he bore a vague resemblance to the big bad rich guy on Simpsons, but I can't remember what his name is right now (Smithers? Or is that his gay assistant?)

God, that robot! Ha! It broke my baby's three thousand dollar statue, and then it sucked up his four thousand dollar tie. (Two thing regarding the whole tie incident. 1. Shere, baby, as much as I love you, you shouldn't wear a four thousand dollar tie just AROUND. What if you get spaghetti sauce on it? Do they even MAKE four thousand dollar ties? 2. The whole act of the robot vacuuming the tie from around his neck. Ooooooh my GOD. Hummana Hummana Hummana. He looks great without a tie. In fact, he'd probably look great without his jacket on. And while we're on this, he'd look really good without....whoa! Shere, lock the door, sweetheart!)

(A little while later, Karmacat straightens her hair) Yes, ahem, where were we? I was.... distracted. Oh yeah, Buzz was in the episode! BUZZ! HE DA MAN!!! I didn't know he was going to be in any other episode besides "Baloo Thunder". I love that little guy. He was even cute when he had the robot suit on (the bus driver saying "Get on the bus, fruitcake". I guess nothing shocks the old bus driver.) Buzz's lab was quite cool.

The animation in this kicked arse. The scenes in which involved Baloo fighting with the robot in midair at night looked straight out of Gargoyles. I was rolling on the floor, it was so cool. I love the way Disney does metal gleaming in the moonlight. They are so good.

I guess I should talk about character development. Nah, who gives a duck? This episode was so cool it doesn't need any of that wrap.

I loved the whole thing with the robot pounding on Shere's window. Oh, he is so smooth. Shere Khan is the smoothest mother - Hey, watch yo' mouth! Ah ma Shere, so rico suave.

The only thing that didn't quite click with this one is when the robot lifted Shere up and flew away with him. No. Uh uh. That's a negative, ghost rider. I mean, Shere could have easily gotten away but he just kinda stayed still with his arms crossed (I think the animators just didn't know how to draw Shere being kidnapped; that was awfully awkward looking.) The robot picked him up by the lapels of his jacket, something I've been known to do from time to time.

I liked it when the kids were looking up at Shere and he turned in his chair, but what was weird was that he stared straight ahead like he was in a coma or something. And then later Baloo flew through the window over his head, and that was cool as all heck. I just wish sometimes the animators would draw Shere having, like, a visible reaction to something. I can get one out of him, but apparently they can't.

Should I shut up about Shere now? Yes. (But he had a very cool red car. But what about the SK insignia on it? A little conspicuous, don't you think? Like, there goes Kahn in his Kahnmobile.)

Okay, Baloo. Looked funny in his suit. It must have been fun to fly around on that rocket pack though. It looked like a blast.

This whole episode was animated fantastically. The plot was very involving and I actually wanted to see what happened. Plus, no Molly! I wish that robot would have eaten Molly before it fell through eighteen floors of Shere's building (also very cool). The action in it was rippin. The jokes were hilarious. I loved that alligator guy. I loved this whole episode. it just rules. No preachiness, no Molly, no boredom, just twenty five minutes of pure fun. I wish I had taped it so I could have twenty five more minutes of pure fun, and then I would have, like, fifty minutes of pure fun. This episode was so cool. And Kahn got the kids hammocks in the end. What a great guy. (yeah, I know I was gonna shut up about him; well it's my review, bite me.)

God, this was a cool ep. If you have to see a Talespin ep, I recommend this one.

Was great. If we could have thrown old Karnagie in there it would have been even better.

By the way, watched Mighty Ducks. Nosedive and Duke are purdy derned hot, if you ask me.
