Since school is out for the summer at PSPIZ they came up with the great idea to have a "Summer Camp" where we all follow the same tutorial on our own time and see what we come up with. The first activity was a tutorial by Hoods called Painting. The idea is to create a picture and give it a "painted" look by applying a filter.
The vase is one that I had created previously and the tulips are a tube that I made from some of my photos. It took 35 separate layers just to do the flowers and the vase, but it was a lot of fun. When it came time to put the frame around it, my daughter Suzanne came in and suggested I use blinds. When we looked at the result we both thought that it kind of looked like a card so I added the text to it and turned it into a birthday card.
