Mary McDaniel was born in 1825 at Louisiana. She was enumerated with Michael Smith Cason on the census of 17 September 1850 at Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, as "Mary McDaniel". She was listed as a female of age 25 who was born in Louisiana. She had married within the year. No information was given on her relationship to the head of household.

He had been married within the year.

Caroline (?) was born in 1830; No information on birthplace was listed. As of 1850,her married name was Aulds. She married Washington Auld, son of John Field Auld and Mary Jackson, in 1850. She was enumerated with John Field Auld on the census of 17 September 1850 at Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, as "Caroline Aulds". She was listed as a female of age 20. No other information was provided. Presumably, she was the new wife of Washingto Aulds.
