Resources

Welcome to our unit's Resources section.

Here, you can find information on just about every topic that is covered in drills, clinics, etc. We have tried to break them up into general topics. Check in often for updates!

Most forms, training info, promotion requiremets, etc. can be found at the Main Sea Cadets Page - http://resources.seacadets.org. All cadets are encouraged to become very familiar with the content of this site.

Here are some links for additional free "viewers". If you do not have the programs, you may need these viewers in order to download and view material from not only the seacadets.org site, but also material on our site:

Our officers/staff directory can be viewed here.

Our attendance policy is as follows:

If you think you are going to miss a drill you must notify your Squad leader and the mustering Petty Officer (Admin Cadet. When you call them you must at this time have a couple alternate dates to make up your missed drill. If you do not have re-scheduled dates at this time your absence will be marked as an Unexcused Absence. If you give the rescheduled dates you will me marked as Authorized Absence and changed to Present with you make up the drill. If you do not make it up by the first week of the following month your Authorized Absence will be changed to Unexcused Absence.

You may take TWT time and apply it towards your drill schedule but it will be erased from your accumulated TWT time so use this wisely.

Our reporting cycle is at the end of the first week of each month. Example. Februarys reporting is mailed in the end of the first week in March.

All other absences will be reviewed on a case to case basic.

  • Cadet Sargent will send me mail for any items not in stock.
  • I will place an order for CUU name tapes and dress uniform name tags once a week. It typically takes 2 - 3 weeks for them to come in. Name tapes and tags will be picked up from Pease on the Saturday drill and will be issued that day.
  • I will place an order for work blue name tapes and other supplies at the end of each month. Orders are submitted monthly to save cost on shipping. It typically takes 4-8 weeks for items to come in except for name tapes which typically take a week.

Seabag Requirements List For Boot Camp - USNSCC material
Schedule, Guidelines, Changes and Updates to the Summer Training Program

Be advised that seabag requirements are quite strict for boot camp. If an item is on the list and you do not have it, you may not be allowed to process through. There have been instances where cadets have not been allowed onto base because they lacked items on this list. If it is on the list, be certain that you have it and the exact number of the item. In addition, if it is not on the list: do not bring it. There are also strict requirements concerning medications of any kind: do not bring medications without proper authorization and documentation.
