Trestleboard Article September/October 2001

Brethren,

Since the last trestle board, harmony Lodge has confered a 1st Degree on Stephen Pethe and voted favorable for him to take his 2nd Degree. We will try to have him ready to take his 3rd at the outdoor degree in late October. It is really good to have attendance of brothers we have not seen in a while. We would like to see you ALL at the meetings. If you have not been to a meeting in a while, try to come out and join the fellowship, or a least the food, and if you come every month I’ll be happy to see you again. September 15 is the 245th anniversary of Harmony Lodge. Since the inspirational meeting at Port Royal Lodge is that day; we moved our celebration tot he 22nd of September. There will be a barbecued pig and a yard sale going on which will begin at 11:00 AM. Please come out, join the fun and bring your family. The committee for E.E. Morris Scholarship Fund met before our last stated communication and will be dispensing $42,000.00 this semester. There is still $279,000.00 in the account so keep sending in those applications. It is a great feeling to be part of such a good cause. I’ll see ya’ll next meeting,.
