Frank received B.A. and B.D.from Drake in 1888, and an M.A. from Drake 1891. He received a Bachelor of Divinity from Yale in 1892.
As an ordained minister, he held pastorates at Akron, Ohio, and at Terre Haute and La Porte, Ind. He later organized the Mutual Lycoum Bureau in Chicago, and was one of the founders of the Bryn Mawr Community Church in Chicago. He was the editor of the Inter-Church Hymnal and active in music circles in Chicago. Frank A. Morgan is listed as the pastor of the Christian Church in Terre Haute, IN in an 1892 directory.
