In 1920, David lived with his father in North English and was a produce dealer. By the time of his father's death, David had moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Family records say David never married. I looked in Milwaukee city directories between 1929 and 1937. I only found one David Scott, between 1931 and 1935, and he did have a middle of A. That David A. Scott did have a wife named Maneva, though and was a laborer in 1931 and a welder in 1935.

According to a letter written by his sister Ida, David moved to Arizona with her May 21, 1951, just before he died.
