CRAYON RESIST
This is a great technique for greeting cards, gift tags and
stationery and Easter eggs.
MATERIALS
Wax crayons, pastels
Watercolor
Brushes, mixing tray
Pre-cut project paper or other project material
HOW TO
1. Draw a picture or make a pattern with colored wax crayons. Decide on the background
color first and use light, bright colors which contrast well with your planned background
color. Use crayons heavily.
2. Using fairly thin paint, cover the whole picture. Dark colors such as violet, dark
blue, and dark green come out really well. Notice how the crayon patterns come out.
