Sting
Sting began his solo career with the release in 1985 of the album, The Dream of the Blue Turtles. The contents were reminiscent of The Police tunes, but they were, however, juxtaposed with haunting, romantic and bubbly rythmn and lyrics.

Bring On The Night, a compilation of songs from his Police days, but this time played with his new band.

His second studio album, Nothing Like The Sun, will spawn another album, Nada Como El Sol where he sung in either Portuguese or Spanish.

When both his parents died, he produced the darkest, most cryptic and the richest of his albums, The Soul Cages.

Ten Summoner's Tales, a play on his family name and Caterburry Tales, released in 1993, gathered new songs about love, himself and other tales.

From his first album, Sting compositions would be like vintage wine: rich and sweeter with age. His most recent album Mercury Falling, since 1993, not counting The Best of Sting: Fields of Gold, makes Sting come full circle as a performer and artist.

Although he is not active anymore as an actor, he still earns credit for providing the motion picture score for The Living Sea as well as recording new tracks for The Three Musketeers, Four Weddings And A Funeral: Original Sound Track, The Postman (Il Postino), Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Leaving Las Vegas, Sabrina, The Truth About Cats & Dogs, Gentlemen Don't Eat Poets, The Object of My Affection, Lethal Weapon 3 and X-Files: The Movie
