Sting championed both Mother Earth and Humanity. Foremost in his efforts is the saving of the Rain Forest. He enjoined others to give their share, publicize the plight of the tropical rain forest and the Kuyapo Indians, wrote songs about the environment, among other things.

He also lent his voice to great causes such as Amnesty International, Greenpeace, Band Aid, and a lot of other concerts.
