Never thought that he would have a chance of flying in a helicopter, dAnIeL was bursting with excitment and thrill when he was given a chance to fly for a few minutes. Though so, dAnIeL was satisfied because the meaning behind this occasion is more than ordinary.
With only 3 years in the entertainment biz, dAnIeL's fame has soared. From an idol to a singer recognised for his talent and potential. And a commercial radio/tv station specially got a place in "Wan Chai" that can hold about 7 to 8 thousand people to allow dAnIeL to hold his own concert! To express their confidence and support for dAnIeL's performance, the organisation willingly spent ten thousands to rent the helicopter and the area to hold the press conference for it. Letting dAnIeL take the ride seems to suggest that dAnIeL's career is taking off too.
The organisation also invited Polygram's president and the sponsers to fly with dAnIeL. Even after the helicopter has landed, dAnIeL was still thrilled and excited. When talking aobut his feelings in the air, dAnIeL said that he wasn't afraid.
At the press conference, it was revealed that when tickets for dAnIeL's concert was on sale yesterday at 9am with 24 hotlines for booking, they were all sold out by 5pm. They never expected response to be that good. But becoz of the time the booked the place, they could not add another show. But they have already kept 200 seats for Taiwan and Singapore fans, hoping that dAnIeL's fans abroad would be able to enjoy the concert.
Ever since this year, dAnIeL has achieved remarkable results. The organisation also listed out what dAnIeL has achieved till May this year. dAnIeL said that this music concert meant a lot to him. It is a turning point for him,a new beginning. Becoz they are getting a live band and backup singers, so there will not be many dancers as well as flashy dressing. The manner the concert is going to be held is a big challenge for him. dAnIeL frankly revealed that he is pretty nervous about it. He is going to invite Alan Tam whom may offer some valuable advice and experience. dAnIeL mentioned about the earlier reunion conert where he was too involved, and didn't realise that he was outshinning the host. Thankfully Alan was there to remind him in time saving him from embarrassing himself.

dAnIeL and GiGi really has some fate. Yesterday while dAnIeL was holding his press conference for his concert on the 23rd of May, GiGi was nearby filming for her facial products' commercial. And while dAnIeL took off for his ride, the reporters came to GiGi to take some pics. Perharps GiGi wanted to avoid rumours, so she immediately head back to the car. So the reporters head back to dAnIeL. They told dAnIeL that he and GiGi has the "destiny" to meet. He laughingly said," No wonder when I looked down from the helicopter, you guys disappeared in less than 10 seconds. I have already arranged that with GiGi, if ihad known earlier, i would have invited her to take the ride with me."
This is the first time that dAnIeL took a helicopter and he was not really comfortable with it. But he was really surprised that the company would be treating this so grand as to let him fly in the helicopter. And the concert was one of dAnIeL's wishes during his 3 years in the entertainment biz, a turning point for his career.Initally he worried about the sales of the tickets but now knowing that the tickets were sold out he felt relieved. About guests, dAnIeL said he would invite Alan Tam personally and whether he would ask GiGi and his good frens, he said it will depend on the programmes for the concert.
Regarding the earlier incidents that accused dAnIeL hording the limelight, dAnIeL feels that it is over. He will only want to thank Alan Tam, the media for reminding him, allowing him the chance to change and especially to those who strongly believed in his character that he would not do such childish acts. But dAnIeL said that he will be cautious not to let that happen again. He also wouldn't mind what Jordan Chan has said as both of them has worked together before. dAnIeL grinned and said "Maybe I'm born to attract rumours but I would never behave in such an immature manner."

After Leon's crossover to Sony, Polygram has been trying to get daniel to fill Leon's position. Yesterday, a press conference was held and dAnIeL got the opportunity to fly in a helicopter which seems to be a match for Leon's slick car at his press conference. And the manner that dAnIeL jumped was similiar in a remarkable way like Leon's.
After dAnIeL took over Leon's previous commercial - USA Cotton, there are rumours that dnaiel's canto album will be released near the date of Leon's album, further with yesterday's press conference it seems like dAnIeL and Leon is going to have a "war". The company oraginising the concert at "Wan Chai", booked the area, rented a helicopter for dAnIeL and even allowed him to take a trip around in the air. There were also refreshments for the ones present and 8 security guards which cost about 10 thousand dollars. Compared to earlier press conferences held for Andy Hui, Chen Huiling,etc. by the same organisation for their concerts, it shows how much dAnIeL meant to Polygram.
dAnIeL got a taste of being high up in the sky and he was so excited. He said, " I have never been on a helicopter before and although is was only for about 10 seconds, but it was high enough that no one can been seen! It's so fun!"
Tickets were on sale at nine yesterday for the activity held on the 23rd of May. And by 5pm, all tickets were sold out. This shows how enthusiastic dAnIeL's fans were. According to the oraganisation, dAnIeL's concert will cost about 7 figures. For dAnIeLwho has been in the entertainment biz for about 3 years now, this is a turning point for his career. He said "This is the biggest concert that i ever held and it is a big challenge. I hope i can do my best."
About the matter with Leon, dAnIeL said that every singer is actually different. He cannot help it if others want to compare. Perharps becoz they used to be from the same company so such things will be particulary sensitive. "These sort of things have been surrounding me ever since I started out. In one way it is good as it shows that everyone does take notice of me!"
And further, USA Cotton confirmed that after they got dAnIeL to take on the commercial, their sales broke records. It seems like dAnIeL wields stronger support than Leon.

On the reunion of the band which comprises of Alan Tam, kenny B etc (sorry me not sure) dAnIeL was one of the invited stars to perform. However at the end of the show, dAnIeL was accused of delibrately stealing the limelight. In the end, Alan Tam came out to defend daniel.
At the part where 10 over young singers came out to perform, dAnIeL was seen at the centre of the stage and hording the microphone. After the accusation, Alan Tam tried to explain. "Actually, there were rehersals being held from the beginning of the show till the end of it. And the first song was to be a duet between me and dAnIeL. I was in the middle, so naturally dAnIeL will have to be at the centre too." Alan told dAnIeL that as one gets more popular, it's easier to stir up such feelings so do not take it to heart.
dAnIeL who has been sitting quietly beside Alan spoke up. "If anyone did view it as that, I apologise for it." Alan dismissed it and said there was no need to apologise, just ignore that. dAnIeL then added, "I was enjoying myself too much on stage and got too engrossed. But I will be more cautious from now." After that, dAnIeL left.
When everyone sang together, someone spotted that dAnIeL stepped on Andy Hui's foot. Andy said "dAnIeL did stepped on my foot but he almost fell himself. Everyone was having such a good time and enjoying themselves. I didn't think that dAnIeL was showing off."

The reunion concert held the day before received enthusiastic response, and the other half of the show was given to young singers like dAnIeL to perform.
At the show, the reporter heard that some of the company's workers were not happy that dAnIeL was forever hording the centre of the stage when there are other singers more popular than him were standing at the sides. Moreover, dAnIeL refused to let go off the mike, behaving on stage as if it was his concert. And Alan has to get the mike personally from dAnIeLbefore he lets go of it. When asked about this, dAnIeL's smilely look faded to a loss. "Hording the centre? Everyone was having such a great time, no one would have noticed that. I wasn't holding the mike most of the time either. Those who thought so must have some problems. I wouldn't do such a thing."
Watching dAnIeL's helpless look, the reporters didn't have the heart to ask him more questions. So they turned to Alan and told him that there were some unhappy matters. Alan said "Don't say that. dAnIeL came all the way here to give his support. Everyone was happy. Becoz he was to be the first one to sing with me so logically he would stand in the centre with me. By saying that would scare dAnIeL." At the same time, Alan stressed that it is definitely not becoz dAnIeL does not want to let go of the mike. He took the initiative to get the mike for other singers and dAnIeL gave it to him willingly.
At this, Alan got up and headed for the rest lounge. He came out with dAnIeL saying that they need to clarify to the reporters. dAnIeL still kept to himself. Alan told dnaiel that as a person gets more popular, there will be more tests and such feelings will more or less depends on oneself to take it. Others would definitely compare and accuse. This was his previous experience and he hoped that dAnIeL would not take this to heart. Whatever people say is only based on feelings.
dAnIeL then said "I had such a great time today, coming wholeheartedly to support the show, listening to such old and memorable tunes and dancing. But if i do create such feelings among anyone, I am sorry." Alan immediately replied "Don't be silly! There is no need to apologise. You came just to support me. There is no need to keep this in mind. If others mistaken, time will prove it all. Be more open. It takes time to learn how to be good on stage, to be pleasing to the eye for everyone." dAnIeL thanked Alan and added that he was too into enjoying himself that reult in this unhappiness. Alan promised that at dAnIeL's concert next month he would be there to support him as a guest.
dAnIeL said that there were such reports too earlier about him takng the centre of attention (with DRY) which got him confused. He promised to take notice of his behaviour and tries to stand in a more inconspicuous corner."Alan is my idol, being misunderstood makes me feel so guilty. This isn't the first time that someone said about this, so wronged. I just hope that ther won't be anything to let others have that feeling again."
Alan "concluded" that dAnIeL is still learning, and he is still ignorant about a lot of things. Everyone writes it down so easily but in the nest morning, it will be another matter. dAnIeL's expression was so helpless. It is as though he was crying but with no tears.

There were reports of dAnIeL, along with Ekin Cheng and Chen Huiling fighting for a handphone commercial. And that dAnIeL in bid to get it even offered to waive the pay. The reports also added that dAnIeL seemed to be the one for choice although it is still in consideration as dAnIeL is still new (not as popular).
dAnIeL finally got his day of rest yesterday but received a call from his company to clarify the reports. Actually he is still not sure about whatever is going on becoz he hasn't seen the reports yet. About all that has been written, dAnIeL believes that it is a delibrate attempt to malign him, so he won't get angry. He thinks that he must has a tough life coz everytime he tries to take a break, some nasty rumours would emerge.
dAnIeL said that up till today, he still haven't got news from his manager nor the company about the offer of that commercial and emphasized that nothing of the earlier reports have happened. And about waiving the pay, dAnIeL said "I wouldn't do that. I would accept reasonable pay. If there is a commercial, I'll take it. If there is not, it wouldn't matter. There is definitely no reason to fight. Further, the most important thing is to have a good record. Even if i had filmed the best commercial, without a good song to complement it, everything would be a waste." dAnIeL still put a good album above all things.
About being new and not able to take up the commercial, dAnIeL said that he would not bother about such rumours. He has been around for about 2,3 years and is already used to such reports.

There were reports in some magazine that to get the handphone commercial Aaron Kwok did, dAnIeL even waived the pay. And the handphone company is afraid of using dAnIeL as he is not that popular and may lose customers. So the company is considering using Ekin Cheng or Chen Huiling to for the commercial.
The reports said that there were 3 reason why dAnIeL would waive the pay.
1.To propel himself to greater heights.
2. To increase his own exposure.
3.If he gets to use his song for the commercial, it would be a form of promotion.
dAnIeL said that yesterday was supposed to be his rest day but he was asked by the recording company to clarify the reports. However he has not even seen the reports and felt that he gets such rumours everytime he tries to take a break. dAnIeL is not clear about what is in the report but he says that he has not received any news about being offered the chance for the commercial. He added that if indeed he do get the commercial, he would not waive the pay.
The reports also said that Polygram was also involved in trying to get the commercial for dAnIeL. But dAnIeL believed that Polygram would not do such a thing. Although dAnIeL was delibrately maligned he said that he wasn't angry.

After Aaron did the handphone commercial, there have been rumours about who would be the next in line for the commercial. It seems like Ekin Cheng, Chen Huiling are going to get it. But yesterday, there were suddenly reports stirring up that dAnIeL is going to be the one instead. And he is willing going to forgo his pay.
It was said that dAnIeL waived his pay in hope for free promotions of his new song, and increase his exposure, etc. About such reports, dAnIeL said this over a telephone interview that there was no such thing and he wouldn't do such thing either. dAnIeLcontinued that he never heard from the company about any offer of that commercial. So when he received a call form the company regarding the reports, he was confused. If dAnIeL takes up the commericial, he will take the pay becoz he deserves it.
When asked if dAnIeL thinks that he is made used of for some promotions, dAnIeL said helplessly that he doesn't have a choice. It is not up to him to control the news. But it seems like the other party is not using him for mere promotions purpose, instead to wreak his reputation. Though so, he won't be angry.
