(my film)
Sent film to negative cutter on Friday... I hope it got there today or I might have to scream very loudly. I got 2/3 of the money I asked for from my school's "grant" program. Woo-hoo.

Seen this week:
Malice: I've seen it before, but I still enjoy this well-crafted story. Highly recommended.
People think all film students do is watch movies all the time. I don't have any money left over, even for the "art houses." I'm saving all my paychecks to see "Viva Rock Vegas" just to see if my name's in the credits at all.

Student rushes/dailies:
None, except those I've seen in the editing rooms.

Currently reading: Billions and Billions by Carl Sagan. If you're open to the idea that science is a wondrous and endlessly fascinating entity in our universe, this book will change your life, as will all of Sagan's works.
Also reading Splatterpunks II: Over the Edge, an anthology of gore horror short stories. Note the "Over the Edge" part of the title. Surprisingly engaging but completely gruesome... all the stories will make you shudder but will also touch on a thoughtful nerve.

Listening to:
Al Green's "Greatest Hits", again.

"Buena Vista Social Club"

Moby's "Play" -- I'm not sick of it anymore. It helps me relax.

Weather continues to SUCK.
