Wha-..? Oh, sorry, I can't help it - there's something about a transforming robot toy that always gets my attention - in the shop, on the telly, a kid's sticky fingers, you name it. I blame it on the 'Arrival From Cybertron' video I saw when I first started baby-sitting. I saw the Movie; my first ever purchase was Hot Rod (and Firebolt!) and I've been obsessed ever since. Comic books and videos soon followed, much to my parent's consternation. G1 classics were followed by Headmasters, Targetmasters, Powermasters, Micromasters, Pretenders... and then they just... faded away... Was this the end? Well, not entirely. I just happened to live in a Scottish town called Dunfermline. The town's story isn't an unfamiliar one given the march of progress. Back in the days of 'primary' industry, it was particularly known for textiles. Steelworks, shipbuilding and mining towns were not uncommon in the neighbouring areas. While it has some wonderful historical features, this town also gave rise to some really ugly cheap-looking eyesores that came about because of increased work forces all needing somewhere to live. Then Britain got hit by the recession as overseas competitors were cheaper than British resources, and everyone started cutting back or closing down. As a result, Dunfermline became one of those towns, the kind you don't visit. Anything not mainstream quickly faded. Forget specialist interests. Anyhow, there was this old building society round the back of the shopping centre and multi-storey car park and one day it suddenly turned into an internet cafe - Surf On Air! Such happy times! Surf On Air's life was, alas, a short if glorious one, but the cafe was my first taste of a) active time-wasting and b) role playing games. I spent many a pleasant time there when I should have been studying. Confronted with 'Yahoo!' I typed 'Transformers' in the search box. I discovered links, places to be, places to buy, as well. And as one thing led to another, I discovered that little Telnet box..!

So anyway, this is my playroom area, to cram all the junk in I don't want to clutter up the rest of my site with. H'm. I've got robot characters that I like to play with, so let's put their web sites here. Pipes, Jay-Bird, Minaba, Dee-Kal and 'Jay'. Those robots are as bad as me - their sites are always under construction! I turned a few children's TF books into web page stories a while back, so we should include those. What else? ASCII pictures, 3D paper doll of Dee-Kal? Why not - I like 'em. And miscellaneous web links, because it's my web site and I want to. Character Pages:
