Raiders of the Lost Ark.  From the creative minds of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg comes this great adventure movie.  Harrison Ford plays Indiana Jones a college professor by day and treasure hunter by night.  Jones must find the lost ark before his rivals can.  This movie is a lot of fun and a great action/ adventure film.  ****

Rain Man.  Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise star in this movie about the relationship between an autistic man and his brother.  Hoffman is excellent in this touching movie.  Winner of four Academy Awards.   ****

The Rainmaker.  Danny Devito, Claire Danes, and Matt Damon star in this enjoyable film about a young lawyer (Damon) who has to go up against a big time insurance company.  The movie is based on the novel by the great John Grisham. ***1/2

Ransom.  Mel Gibson, Gary Sinise, and Rene Russo star in this thriller about a set of parents and their struggle to find their kidnapped son.  It'll keep you on the edge of your seat.   Russo and Sinise turn in nice performances. ***1/2

Revenge of the Nerds.  Lewis Skolnick and his nerdy friends form their own fraternity at Adams College after being tortured by the jocks who take their dorm rooms.  Of course the nerds fight back!!! Anthony Edwards of ER fame stars.  It's a funny movie ***

Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise.  The nerds make a trip to Ft. Lauderdale for the national fraternity convention.  Of course they run into more jocks.  A very young Courtney Thorne Smith is also in this one.  The sequel is about as funny as the original ***

Rush Hour.  Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan star in this very entertaining and funny movie.  This movie has plenty of action and non-stop laughter.  This movie was worth the price of admission.  Don't miss it.  ****
