Uncle Buck. John Candy, Mackuly Culkin, and Gabby Hoffman star in this really funny movie. Candy, the kid's uncle, has to watch his brothers kids while their parent are out of town, and from then on out it is quite an adventure. John Candy is at his best. A really funny movie the whole family will love. ****
Urban Legends. Someone is going on a killing spree recreating urban legends on a college campus. I didn't think it was that great, but a bunch of other people liked it a lot. The girl from the noxema ads and Josh Jackson from Dawson's Creek star. It did keep you guessing throughout the movie though. This movie is a change from the the Scream and I Still Know… movies ***1/2
V
Varsity Blues. James Van Der Beek from Dawson's Creek stars in this very entertaining movie about a high school football team. The team must overcome a ruthless head coach and a season ending injury to the star QB. This movie has great football action, is very funny, and has interesting characters. ****3/4
A Very Brady Sequel. I got one word for ya: LAME! This movie was suppose to be funny, but it wasn't. I haven't seen the original, but it couldn't be much worse. Do yourself a favor and just watch the old TV show. *

The Waterboy. This movie was really really funny. Adam Sandler plays Bobby Beaushea a 31 year old moron waterboy who becomes a hard hitting middle linebacker when he vents his frustration. It wasn't as good as Happy Gilmore but very very close. You'll laugh non stop. The Fonz is in this movie too. ****
Wayne's World. Dana Carvey and Mike Myers bring their famous Saturday Night Live skit to the big screen. This one is a lot of fun and full of laughter. ****
Wayne's World 2. Wayne and Garth are back except this time they are trying to start a music festival called Waynestock. This one is also a lot of fun. ****
The Wedding Singer. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are both good in this movie, but it just wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. Sure there were some funny lines and all the music from the 80's was funny, but after Sandler's last couple movies, this one was sorta a disappointment. ***
What About Bob? Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss star in this funny movie about a psychiatrist and his wacko patient. Bill Murray is hilarious in this movie as he follows Dreyfuss and his family to their summer home, where the family falls in love with Bob . ***
White Men Can't Jump. Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson star in this movie about a couple of hustlers who travel from playground to playground to win money. This is an entertaining movie that is always on cable. ***
X
X- Files: Fight the Future. I have never watched one second of the TV show and probably never will, but this is a smart and highly entertaining movie. This movie will keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat. Even if you've never watched the show, you'll still enjoy this great movie. *****
