| Agape Brothers is a band which was formed in June 1994. It started with 5 brothers who wanted to do more with our talents under the guidance & support of PJEFC. What started off as a casual jam session soon became a ministry for us. We realised the influence of music in the lives of young people and we wanted to make a difference with our music and to demonstrate to our peers that Christian music can be both exciting and powerful. |

The band has grown since we started and there are even sisters in the band now. We have a back-up band under training and they consist of young musicians who aspire to serve God in the music ministry. We also have the support of the prayer team and counselling team during concerts. We decided to go on with the name Agape Brothers with everyone's consent including the sisters too, of course. The age group of the band members is between 17 - 26 years. Most of the band members are in college and some of us are already working.
The uniqueness of the band lies in the fact that our repertoire consists mostly of our own compositions. These songs relate to our personal experiences. We find this effective in reaching out to other young people, who can relate to similar experiences.
We hope to further achieve our threefold function through our music. To carry a message that transcends denomination, act as role models for teenagers and evangelise at the same time.

2. Music Appreciation
The evil one has used music to bring glory to his name for a long time. It is our turn now to make a stand and declare war. To use music for God's glory & truly proclaim that music belongs to God.
3. Friendship Evangelism
We want to reach out our hands and touch a friend in need. Sharing our light with them in the midst of darkness and leading them back to the path of righteousness.
Mission Statement:
We want to be young ministers for God and evangelism is our main purpose. Reaching out to all youth through music and songs and bringing glory to His name.
Motto:
Onward for Christ & letting His love shine thru (Matthew 5:13-16) .
