"We have to get used to changes" - someone always told me. And the ministry knew that changes were not easy. At this point of the year, members of this ministry were leaving to further their studies and there was a need of a merging. The two groups of Agape had to merge into one and this part was a very trying but rewarding experience. As the verse in James 1:2-4 says, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds. Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." As we persevered, the Lord was working in us personally through the year and preparing us for greater plans.

Part of the Lord's plans were unfolded and revealed to us throughout the year of 1999. We started off with a smalll gig. It was at Kg. Sungai Kayu Ara, a village in Petaling Jaya, where we had an accoustic session and played some games with young children while telling them about God. It was a rewarding experience as the children responded with smiles of joy and understanding. It is true as it said that the children are the future of the world and that we are not to forsake them. I believe that the children who attended the gig were truly blessed."Let the children come to me, for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these..."

Following this gig was our first worship tour of the year at S3 Community Church. As we practised and prayed for this gig, the Lord taught us to really focus our hearts at worshipping Him even at our practices. This followed with great showers of blessings by the Lord as we continued on with our worship tour to Melaka EFC. We had a great night of praise and worship. On this night, 3 people came up for prayers (rededication and personal prayer needs). This was followed by a Sunday Worship the next day. After this gig, the Lord blessed us with new members whom have been used by God to bless more people through their lives and the following gigs :-

IPOH - During prayer sessions before the concert, we felt that there were many spritual battles going on. We held on tight to the Lord and drew strength from Him as we went to Ipoh and ministered to the people there. As always, the Lord shows us many things that we did not expect and that at this gig the Lord touched the hearts of the members in the ministry. We had a slight disruption on our way travelling home from Ipoh and the best part of it all is that God taught us how to respond in the way that He wanted us to in situations such as the one we faced. Nowadays, we see many people wearing this bracelet with the words "WWJD" printed on it. It stands for "What Would Jesus Do", in this case, we really had to think of what Jesus would do in that situation and we are grateful and encouraged that the Lord blessed us with some people who handled our food and lodging and also a man to help us out with the situation we faced. We thank God that all was well and we reached home safely.

BBC - Our next stop was at the Bukit Beruntung Church, about half an hour to 45 minutes of drive from Petaling Jaya. On that day, the church organised a friendly international basketball game. The night was filled with a great time of ministering as the Holy Spirit was present and was working in the place. There was also a short mime presentation by the group who were invited for the basketball game. The mime was about the Creation of Men followed by the Fall of Men and the Death of Jesus that reconciled men with God. The presentation was so full of meaning that it spoke to the hearts of the people there and ours as well.

O.U.G. - The following gig was had at His Sanctuary of Glory, a church situated in the midst of Overseas Union Garden. The ministry was invited to have a time of praise and worship as well as a time of evangelism for a camp that the church organised. The night ended with an altar call by the pastor of the church and many of the campers came up for prayers. The Lord has once again used music as His tool to minister to the hearts of His people and to draw them closer to Him. How awesome is the ways of the Lord !

The remaining of the year saw the ministry at TW (PJEFC)and Multimedia University (MMU) at Cyberjaya. We closed the year with a celebration together with the PJEFC and TW at MAS Training Centre, Kelana Jaya.
